Terms of Service
These terms govern use of AssessVia (assessvia.io and the underlying product) by recruiters who create accounts and by candidates who take interviews through it. By using AssessVia, you agree to these terms.
The service
AssessVia lets a recruiter set up an AI-conducted live technical interview and invite a candidate to take it by voice. The AI interviewer asks questions, the candidate responds, and AssessVia produces a private assessment report for the recruiter. AssessVia is a screening aid, not a replacement for a recruiter's own judgment -- hiring decisions remain the recruiter's responsibility.
Accounts and approval
Recruiter accounts require a valid email and may require manual approval before interviews can be created, to protect the platform against abuse. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Do not share your account credentials.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use AssessVia to: interview or evaluate candidates for unlawful discriminatory purposes; attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or the approval process; probe, scan, or attack the platform's infrastructure; scrape or extract data beyond your own account's reports; or upload content you don't have the right to share (for example, someone else's resume without consent).
Candidates
If you are taking an interview through AssessVia, you do so at the invitation of a recruiter who is using the platform to evaluate you for a role. Your interview audio, transcript, and resume are shared with that recruiter as your assessment report -- see our Privacy Policy for details on what is collected and who can see it. You should not take an interview you weren't invited to, or on someone else's behalf.
Billing
Paid plans grant a set number of interview credits per billing period. Credits do not roll over unless stated otherwise at purchase. Payments are processed by Cashfree; we do not store your card details. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and may change with notice.
Availability and changes
AssessVia is an evolving product and features, pricing, and these terms may change. We'll keep the date at the top of this page current when we make material changes. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability but aim to keep the service reliable and will communicate significant outages to affected recruiters where we can.
Disclaimer and liability
AssessVia is provided "as is". AI-generated assessments can be wrong or incomplete, and should be one input among several in a hiring decision, not the sole basis for one. To the extent permitted by law, AssessVia is not liable for hiring decisions made using its reports, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
Termination
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, abuses the platform, or attempts to defraud our billing system. You can close your own account at any time by contacting us.
